Daniel Carr

I Chair the Trail Committee of the Maine Island Trail Association.  I have served as a MITA Trustee for nine year, recently terming off.  

I have about 40 years of paddling experience including experiences as a whitewater kayak guide, ocean surfing, and sea kayaking. I am a MITA member, volunteer steward and Board of Trustees Member.  I chair the Trail Committee charged with guiding the expansion, maintenance and stewardship of the Maine Island Trail.  In 2008 I scouted Cobscook Bay for MITA which led to adding island sites in the Bay to the Maine Island Trail.
