  1. I'm interested in paddling but have been looking at the strong wind forecasts for the past few days as well. I'd like to join you but won't make the drive over to paddle unless we paddle where it's more protected or the forecast does suddenly change.
  2. I'd love to join you. Please add me to the list.
  3. I'm also interested and Tuesdays work for me.
  4. I'm also interested. Any night but Wed works for me (Jan 7, 9 or 14 are OK).
  5. There must be a way to find out the boating restrictions on the Charles for this event. I wonder if the Boston Harbor patrol would have any idea? Even if they don't know, they may know who would know. I looked for a few minutes online but couldn't find out any information.
  6. I'd love to attend. Thank you for rescheduling!
  7. Hi Bob, I'd like to join as well. Susan
  8. Oops! I saw "Cashman Park" and thought "Chapmans Landing". As far as the other launch site on the Great Bay, did you mean Adams Point? BTW, the other suggestions (Newburyport, Pavillion Beach and Lanes Cove) sound delightful as well!
  9. I love Cape Porpoise. My only thought is that since it's a bit of a drive, is that it's nice to put in at CP as close to two hours before high tide and then paddle until two hours after high tide to get at least four hours out of it. I'd love to go there but perhaps July 15th is not the day for it. My vote is instead for your second suggestion - to put in at Chapman's Landing (or Newmarket?) and ride the tide downstream into and around the Great Bay and then paddle back upstream with the incoming tide.
  10. Whoops! I did miss this important step! Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/40471583@N00/
  11. Katherine, thank you very much for arranging this paddle. It was a great introductory NSPN trip for me! I've posted the pictures that came out OK on Flickr. I hope everyone can see them there. If there's another way that folks typically share pictures I can do it that way as well. Susan
  12. I'd love to join you as well! Katherine, thank you for setting this up. I am a new member of NSPN and am looking forward to meeting all of you. See you on the 10th! Susan O
