Hi I recently reported my roof rack was taken off my car in my driveway. The police said it was the second one this week. Make that three. I just read in the Salem news that another one was taken in salem. I now run a cable though and around my rack (30 feet) then I lock it to my car underneath. Also my flood light is on all night. Next week I am going to install a motion detector light for the yard. It cost a 1000 dollars to replace what I had. Jim Jellison

Hi I am a new memeber but wanted to get this out . I had my roof rack stolen in salem. the police said it was the second one this week. I live in salem up in gallows hill area. the rack is secured to the roof with locks. It had two bike carriers and a kayak holder on it. They took the whole thing. No damage to the car. I replaced it yesterday for a cost of 750. I did not replace everything. I have this thule system for 20 years and never heard of someone taking the whole system of the car. I just wanted to give people a heads up. thanks Jim Jellison
