  1. Thanks i will mess around with it when i get back from Maine Jason. See you there.
  2. yes to leaving the email blank and filling it out. Actually Chrome gave me a malware warning for this site. maybe that is the problem.
  3. Can someone please tell me how i can change a password? I am so frustrated. It wouldn't let me in, i had NSPN generate a password and in order for me to change it it wants a new email address. WTH? you can't get a message thru' to them without changing the email address . something seems screwy. or am i missing something? i have been trying this on and off for a week. Grrrrr.. No luck. yes i know i can keep their password, but will remember my own more easily. Thanks
  4. And there is always the fact that someone may be depressed and just not care. We may or may not ever know, but there are people that knew and cared about this woman and they are are all hurting. All we should be concerned with is trying to educate others and do what we know best for ourselves while out on the water.
  5. Drop them into a straw as many or a few as you want and seal the ends with a heated butter knife edge or needle nose pliers. Can be sealed in between each tablet if you choose. Take your trauma scissors and snip off however many you need when and if the need arises. Compact cheap and easy storage problem solved.
  6. I have the Navi Aid, and a handheld...i just don't like looking at a screwed up compass. Just bothers me. Thanks for the tips.
  7. Help....my Brunton compass is stuck upside down, I have rolled the boat many times and rocked it back and forth, still stuck. what else can i do? it is only 2 yrs. old.
  8. That is great that you were able to fix so easily, too bad you didn't get it on video for the rest of us. ) Paddle on!
  9. I can't remember what type of skeg system that i have in my PX, but i remember that there was 2 different types. I wonder if it is a problem with just one of those or it is happening to both. I would be curious to know. So far i have not had a skeg issue at all, i got my boat last September. I try not to paddle with any skeg if i can help it, that boat is quite responsive. I was in a P+H Scorpio before and had to always use some skeg, it is nice to paddle a boat w/out having to now, I get worried that i will forget to put it up if i put it down now that i have been for going it. The cables are a lot more complicated than they use to be on the NDK's
  10. do you know how it happened? Just curious as i have the PX also
  11. You may have to go to Maine Island Kayak, in Portland on Peaks for the work. Let us know how u make out
  12. Bob, Have you tried your GP roll with your hands in the paddling position? Easy enough to do, just a little practice and paying attention the cant of the blade. Can be done just as a euro roll can be done. Something to practice this summer for you. Let us know how it goes.
  13. JetBoil for me...i like that i am supporting a local business and the less i have to cook, the better i like it. I keep it simple. Gourmet is for in the kitchen, not at the campsite in my oppinion. For me anyway, you are all entitled to go all out if you like...
  14. These are what i use...very warm. They take getting use to, but are warm indeed.
  15. I found mittens to be warmest...sometimes to warm, better than to cold though. I like the Kokatat gortex pogies also. when cold i use layers under them, when warmers, i just use as is.
