Anybody remember Bugeye tuliqs? size medium, neoprene. Fits keyhole cockpit. in maine... you pay shipping. good condition, but one wear spot in hood that needs a neoprene patch or a goretex patch. If you want I could patch with goretex.

Sorry guys from South of the border. Even if you want to do a day trip to the maine islands ( or the Allagash ) the 14 day quarantine still stands. Makes your day trip pretty long.

I agree with Ed. Read up on Greenland paddles. They have been popular for hundreds of years. Kind and gentle on the joints. And I think even that 220 is too long for you.

Just curious as to how you like the transit..... I am just starting the "look around" and the transit catches my eye. I do wish honda would put out the element again.

Often times I will hang onto my own paddle like that... goes with the notion of not letting go of your paddle... ever. And takes away from the awkwardness that is involved with "what to do with these paddles"

congrats on your purchase. I have a VW Golf. Love my car! I have actually carried 4 sea kayaks on top - all on edge using the kayak stacker.... and that was one set of kayak stackers with 2 sea kayaks on each side. I wouldn't want to do it every day (that one time was just about enough!). We all got to where we wanted to go (kayaks and all) the limiting factor for me was the gear that needed to go in the car..... since I don't have a golf wagon.
