  2. Glad to know there are some who remember the shared great times with NSPN paddlers over the years/decades! Mary B, Bill H, Truly Yours, Prudence B, Dave M, Rene B, Paul S, Barry M, Roger T; Lobster Buoy Campsites
  3. Today
  4. Marshall, Going to pass because the juice is not worth the squeeze. Too many questions about parking availability and the hassle factor. OTOH.. I'll see you at the Blackburn. I am entered in FSK.
  5. I’d like to go. Getting blown out from my downeast trip.
  6. Not bothering to give answers in white or any other color. Just know I scored 100% plus bonus points 😁πŸ€ͺπŸ‘.
  7. Yesterday
  8. Said someone who might have taken a similar photo! Answers (including venue) in white, please.
  9. It’s looking like I could do this !
  10. I would love to join! Thanks Jim! (thought I'd answered before but don't see it here.) πŸ€”
  11. Jim, Right now my schedule is open.
  12. Monday is my annual trip to buy fertilizer for my hayfields at Neptune's Harvest in Gloucester. For years I have been combining this trip with a paddle in the area, although in the past I think I've always done a non-club trip. Conditions are predicted to be pretty tame, leaving options to paddle up the coast or out to islands. I can arrive in time for a 10:30am launch after fish buying. If you'd like to join me, let me know and I'll start a group message. Sea temperature has warmed up to 45 degrees! Drysuits still required.
  13. Totally easy! Except in bonus points department can't do first initial of last name of individual on far left.
  14. We don't have a quorum. I think this trip is dead @Benjamin Rechel.
  15. From L to R, name these Snapdragon scalawags. Bonus points for venue and first letter of last name.
  16. For some reason I have not been getting the updates. I will work on the greenhouse tomorrow, if anyone wants to try and put on plastic in the wind, let me know.
  17. Last week
  18. I upset my low back today. So I am now only a maybe for Friday.
  19. I was thinking Rye Harbor might be the best choice. Bass Beach is nice, with decent off season parking. It's near Rye Ledge, which can be fun. Magic Seaweed referred to it as Rye Rocks".
  20. I don't recall Bass Beach, but two foot seas are not ideal when combined with an exposed beach launch.
  21. I am all in favor of supporting our local dealers - I would add kayak centre in Wakefield RI as source but also encourage you to read about hatches at the kayak academy website - https://www.kayakacademy.com/products/valley-hatch-cover-vcp-round-8-lid There are multiple pages to check out - but they have a good discussion of the options
  22. I'm withdrawing from this plan. You guys should go ahead without me if you are happy with the forecast.
  23. Thanks, but as I'm in Ireland I doubt I'll ever get over your way. As for the skeg it came out with minimal effort. Put in 5mm bungee, but I'm thinking that's going to be to much oomph. Get some 4mm today and hopefully some new suitable rope.
