    Wednesday Lunch Paddle

    This series of paddles takes place on (surprise!) Wednesdays, and provides a midweek opportunity to paddle on a different day from the lake sessions. Most of the launches will be in the Salem Sound area, but can branch out to between Boston and Gloucester.     Chebacco Lake practice sessions

    Come join us at Chebacco Lake in Hamilton on Thursdays at 5pm until sunset though the summer. Practice strokes, rolls, rescues, falling out of your boat, or just watching kingfishers.  Dress for immersion.  A wetsuit is warm enough in early season, and keeps down the bruises from climbing back into your boat ten times a night.     Saddleback Retreat, Stonington, ME . July 19-22

    This will be the 5thNSPN retreat to Saddleback Island in the Stonington Archipelago.  We have reserved the Saddleback Cabin from the Maine Coast Heritage Trust for the nights of July 19 to July 21. Saddleback will be our base camp; a wonderful rustic cabin is equipped with bunkbeds , kitchen, fireplace, a stove and kitchen wares; there is also a  privy/outhouse .    Launch from Old Quarry A
