Chebacco Lake practice sessions

Come join us at Chebacco Lake Thursdays at 5pm. Practice strokes, rolls, rescues, falling out of your boat, or just watching kingfishers.  Dress for immersion.  A wetsuit is warm enough, and keeps down the bruises from climbing back into your boat ten times a night. 3rd Annual Saddleback Island Retreat, July 14-17

Join us for a mid-summer retreat on Saddleback's MCHT cabin in the Stonington archipelago.  Limit 12, with pods launching from Old Quarry or Wooden Boat School.  Past day trips have included IAH (with and without circumnav), Marshall I., Green I. quarry, and meandering/exploring the other numerous islands in this kayaker's paradise, including Saddleback.  Pot luck is the routine, for those wishing

NH Practice session

Introducing a New Hampshire practice session. When - Tuesdays - 5pm launch (see dates listed below) Where - Odiorne Point, Rye, NH Launch at 5pm from Odiorne boat launch. Camping on Butter Island - E Penobscot Bay

Camping trip with two night reservation on Butter Island west of Deer Isle. Have reservation at Old Quarry in Stonington for night of July 27. Paddle from OQ on morning of 28th to Butter (11 miles) and spend two nights at Orchard Beach campsite.
