I just posted an L2 paddle in the Great Marsh for Sunday, June 17, B-in-B at 9:30 (to catch the high tide). This is a lovely trip that we've offered quite a few times in past years.

http://www.nspn.org/...nt&event_id=814

No rush right now (in March) obviously, but please post here or e-mail me (djlewis at triadic dottie commie) if interested, so we can plan the launch site -- for easy or harder L2 -- and, if well-subscribed, maybe both.

All levels from beginning L2 up are welcome. A few more experienced folks along will make splitting possible.

Have never paddled in this area, so would be interested in the theoretical "harder" of the paddles...

I just penciled this one in. I sailed ipswich bay for years, and have always been interested in paddling the 'inside.'

This will be one of my first NSPN trips (scheduling just didn't work out last season).

Hey, count me in. This will be my first paddle with NSPN! Looking forward to meeting some new paddlers from this area. Been paddling the cape for the last 15 years. Richard

I would love to come. I've kayaked in fresh water, never in salt water and I went to the workshop for ""new to sea kayaking". This is my first post!

David,
Sounds like a splendid paddle. Right now I'm up for L2 but I'll decide when the date gets closer.

Great, Gene -- hope to see you.

Hoping for a few more experienced paddlers so we can break into two groups of different lengths and levels. Do you feel up to that role, Gene?

Oh, dear, Pru -- please let me know if you won't make it. I was hoping you'd lend your experience and training to help out.

At this point, I have a camping trip planned that wknd. Too many great places to go, too little time! If weather is too much of a horror for camping, but not for a nice paddle in a protected marsh, then the marsh it will be. Otherwise...the joys of camping on islands!

David-I was so looking forward to this trip but I may have a conflict. My daughter wants to celebrate Father's Day with me. I guess Hallmark trumps NSPN.

Ok, some other time. Daughters and fathers are important!

On the other hand.....Father's day can also allow the Dad to "get away" for the day. I've been given the green light to escape for the day, and I'd love to join the group for the paddle. Long range weather report is looking promising.

I would love to come on this paddle. It would also be my first NSPN trip!
