My third night paddle this year and each has had it's own character. Last night was about a stunning sunset, mirror like seas, sand bars and good company.

WONDERFUL photos and I'm so sorry I missed the paddle last night.
I thought of you- looking at the stars around 10- thinking that the moon would be rising soon for you, but that you were able to enjoy the stars before hand.
Any phosphorescence?

Hoping for an August Full Moon paddle with you.
I teach, so, I'm free weeknights- that week, but will go whenever the "ringleaders" of this event are able.

lots.... we were splashing in the (miniscule) surf on Crane's beach to kick it up, and could see it on paddles, hands, and even a steady glow in the bow wake on the paddle back (right before the moon finally opted to appear). a magical night indeed.

Thanks for the photos and company! Wonderful night. It was a pleasure to paddle with you all. I can't believe how many folks were setting off fireworks. And the water was so still that you could see reflections. What a great view, when that moon came up, and we were paddling right towards it. Cool group.
