I can see the pictures without a facebook account. It looks like you were having a lot of fun!

Sorry to hear about the paddle. BTW, I have no special tips on my GPs. I just keep sanding the edges smooth as they get nicked. When the paddle gets too short (hasn't yet!) I will make a new one.

Well, this seems to be a bit more than a nick. Though it is technically reparable, it would be a pretty good project to do so. Next year I might have the facilities to do such repair or replace projects, but for know I think we'll have to see a professional to solve this problem.
