I'm looking for a seakayak to fit a small female. I'm guessing she is about 110# soaking wet!
Fiberglass preferred, 16 foot range, but open to all options.

Thanks,
Frenchy

Lol, yes I do, and the "Frenchling" has her heart set on something shiny (mango or lime) not too long/wide and handles well in surf with bow and stern bulkheads she can fill with gear on family island camping trips.

You can check my "starfish" boat in the ads below. 17' x 20.5" wide - it is a Petrel design but lower decks that will make the fit much nicer. Works great in rough water. Contact me at slovrien at comcast dot net for more pics/info.

Additionally, AvocetLV.

It's a real purty boat, too, although I don't know about its storage capacity as that's not an issue for me beyond the necessities I have to carry whilst paddling.

A bit old school, but the size is right.

Interesting indentation for spare paddle.

Did you ever get the kayak you were looking for? I've got a nice Chesapeake 16' LT for sale for a low price. It has been my wife's kayak, and she is a small paddler herself. If you're still looking, I could shoot you photos and a description.

My Carbon Kevlar Montauk is available. It's a good boat for the smaller paddler, fast, very lightweight, tracks well and I've camped for a week in it before. If you have any interest, email me at lorrieallen at mac dot com.
